Finance Manager
Location - Manchester
Salary - £50,000

Simpson Judge are working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Manchester M17, who have an opportunity for a Finance Manager, in a broad role, managing a small team.


Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of P&L
  • Preparation for annual Statutory Audit
  • Submission of UK and foreign VAT returns
  • Managing Debtors & Creditors and Bank accounts
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management information
  • Cost variance analysis and control, review overheads, WIP, Fixed Assets
  • Design and Implementation of new MI reports
  • Preparation of KPI data and provide recommendations based on results
  • Overseeing a small team of staff ensuring all work is completed efficiently

Skills/Qualifications:

  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified accountant (QBE, finalists, etc, also considered)
  • Previous management accounts experience
  • Previous people management experience (ideal, not required)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
