About Our Client:

A membership body for a heavily regulated industry, based in London.

Key Tasks,


Responsibilities:


  • To ensure that all advice given is of high quality, relevant, and of particular use to members, with due regard to legislation, codes of practice, the method of operation that businesses may adopt; contractual rights and liabilities affecting members in the running of their agencies and compliance with the codes of practice.
  • To work in cooperation with other members of the legal team, the Standards team and other colleagues to provide an effective and efficient service to members.
  • To conduct any necessary research, to undertake relevant training and generally to keep up to date with developments in all areas on which the body provides legal advice.
  • To keep up to date with developments in the industry so far as they impact on the advice we give.
  • To provide advice to members through the business support service and where requested by the Legal Advice Manager, to internal departments of the organisation.
  • To ensure that communications with members is prompt, courteous and in keeping with organisation policy at all times.
  • To act in accordance with all reasonable instructions and to conduct any other business commensurate with your role and within your skills and abilities that may be required from time to time.
  • Where required, to deliver Audited and Audited Education against the agreed criteria.
  • To keep up to date with the company products and services to ensure that the information provided to members is accurate and current.

What's on Offer:


Location
You will be based in London office, minimum two days per week, with flexible working options available. Travel around the UK will be required from time to time.
