Description

We are looking for a dynamic and forward thinking individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Sport / Head of Girls Games.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced coach or teacher and aspiring leader to play a key role in further developing the sports offer at Taunton Prep School commencing September 2023.


You will also be responsible for leading the department team of staff and overseeing the extensive PE and girls' games provision and assist the Director of sport and senior management team with the overall strategic direction, leadership and management of sport across the Prep and Pre-Prep Schools.


Experience:


  • Ability to teach a range of sports to a high level
  • Experience of coaching netball and hockey to a high level

Skills:


  • Leadership skills
  • Strong work ethic, personal organisation and a passion for teaching
  • Ability to set challenging and ambitious targets
  • Ability to motivate, inspire and lead students, staff and parents
