Description

This West London surveyors and property managers are looking for an experienced Block Property Manager to join their friendly, open plan property management department of 8x property managers supported by property assistants and a service charges accountsteam.

It's a niceblock property manager role working for a very nice client in West London and looking after a good quality portfolio.

Setting annual service charge budgets including reviewing previous expenditure and forecasting for the following year(s)
Carrying out property inspections to check upon the condition of buildings, grounds, plant etc and ascertain works of repair
Instructing contractors for works of minor repair and/or maintenance including obtaining quotes, ensuring invoices are correct and approving/authorising
Liaising with surveyors for any major works
Awareness of general health & safety matters re fire risk assessments, asbestos surveys, electrical conditions reports etc including follow up actions
Dealing with insurance claims and associated works, liaising with loss adjusters as appropriate
Checking compliance with and enforcement of the terms of leases and statutory requirements
Attending client meetings
Liaising with accounts department regarding payment of service charges and other charges
