3 x Fixed Term contracts for 3 months
To take overall responsibility for the location and administration of all finished goods stock and to provide support cover for the Supply Chain Department.
Responsibilities:
- To carry out Supply Chain duties in a safe and timely manner, to ensure the customer or supplier receives their products in the best of conditions and to the highest of Quality Standards.
- Responsible for goods in, unloading deliveries, scan items into stock as per the customer requirements, put items away into the required location.
- Process returns as per the customer requirements; relabelling and rebagging as per specifications.
- To locate, pick and pack orders efficiently.
- Prepare orders for delivery and despatch items using the required courier system.
- Load wagons with complete orders / deliveries.
- To have/acquire great working knowledge of the Cloud X WMS (Warehouse Management System) and manage the system effectively.
- Control batches of finished goods to make effective use of Supply Chain Racking space.
- Carry out stocktaking duties when required using the WMS, reporting any discrepancies to the Supply Chain Team Leader and Operations Manager.
- Use High Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Truck vehicles with due care and attention and be able to carry out safety checks of said vehicles.
- Operate the pick truck to pick orders which requires working from height.
- To have support responsibilities on weekend overtime shifts, and other out of hours work, as and when required.
- To communicate effectively across all Departments across the different sites.
- Establish and maintain best working practices.
- To ensure that quality and environmental standards are adhered to, working with KPI's and meeting targets in line with the company strategy.
- Observe and comply with Company Health and Safety Policy and be knowledgeable with regards to all Elanders policies and procedures relating to the Fulfilment and Despatch Departments.
- To perform any other tasks as Directed by the Supply Chain Team Leader.
Experience / Skills / Person Specification
- Previous experience working in Wareroom/Despatch/Fulfilment/Supply Chain environments.
- Experience managing a small team and taking initiative to split workloads.
- Management support experience would be preferred.
- Paper handling skills
- Time management must be able to work to deadlines.
- Communication skills
- Conduct best and most efficient working practices.

From £10.42 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
