Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a leading Electrical Contractor in the London area who are looking for a brand new Electrical Tester / Engineer to join their team covering all electrical projects across the London area.


They are looking for an experienced Electrical Tester to manage a team of operatives covering all electrical maintenance across the London area.


Duties:


  • You will work on several projects ranging from School works, Lateral mains and emergency lighting upgrades and FRA works.
  • The company have several housing associations contracts which require testing and upgrades to domestic properties and communal areas. All test certification is carried out on a tablet (iPad), so a knowledge of form filling is essential (help and trainingwill be provided if necessary).
  • The types of works vary from fuse board changes, to kitchen rewire, full rewires, accessories changes through to reactive maintenance & Project Works.
  • The works vary from changing light fittings, switches, sockets etc through to rewires and Distribution board changes. We also do communal works and street lighting repairs and upgrade.
  • If commercial works are limited, the company are able to provide works on the testing or maintenance project thus they are never in a position of having to let people go once a project come to an end.

Key Knowledge:


  • Experience in testing but a 2391 (or equivalent) qualification is NOT essential but would be beneficial.
