TristoneNash have been partnered with a Housing Association in their search for a Head of Business Performance to drive the medium-long term business planning process, to ensure goals are aligned to the Corporate Plan vision, customer outcomes and metrics.


Specifically, the role will plan, manage and coordinate the financial and operational performance reporting activities for the customer directorate, liaising with key stakeholders to identify, prioritise and co-ordinate critical issues and information toenable the Chief Customer Officer to make good, data driven business decisions.


Job role:


Drive the medium-long term business planning process, to ensure goals are aligned to the Corporate Plan vision, customer outcomes and metrics.


Support the CCO to oversee the progress of projects and the achievement of goals, aligned to the annual Business Plan and Corporate Plan objectives.


Plan, manage and coordinate business performance reporting across the customer directorate, analysing and interpreting data to support good decision making.

Assist the Customer Leadership Team in financial and operational decision-making, programme management, and initiative implementation.


Review, design, and execute on improvements to organisation structure, finding knowledge and skills gaps evidence from financial and operational business performance.

Improve current processes and coordinate organisational procedures for optimised efficiency and productivity.

Maintain cross-directorate relationships with senior leaders across the business - connecting workplans and business outcomes between teams.


Build and develop relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and help to define new operational strategies, working with the CCO and executives on special projects.

Promote a positive collaborative culture of Building Safety and Compliance. Take personal responsibility for escalating any concerns to the Building Safety & Compliance Team for consideration and/or investigation.


Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies to ensure an integrated contribution to the corporate objectives.


Experience required:


  • Experience in an executive or business management role and a track record of department and team management.
  • Experience of planning and leading strategic activities, data analysis and performance reporting.
  • Proven track record of strategic planning and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to build relationships across the organisation ensuring successful and sustainable customer partnerships and developing relationships and alliances that deliver the business' customer aims. Skilled at negotiating at all levels.
  • Ability to analyse and compile a large amount of data and come up with insightful and conclusive recommendations.
  • Financially astute, with sound business acumen.
  • Ability to communicate responsibilities to data users and assure the proper use of data within the Customer Data Domain.
  • Understanding of data breaches, associated implications and industry standards of preventing/triaging a breach
