Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide exceptional personal care and support to clients within their homes, promoting independence and preserving their dignity.
  • Lead and supervise a team of care assistants, ensuring the delivery of care to the highest standards.
  • Conduct spot checks, competencies, and regular reviews for care staff to maintain quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with the care management team to plan and assess individual care needs, creating personalised care plans.
  • Monitor clients' health status and emotional wellbeing, promptly reporting any changes or concerns.
  • Assist clients with various daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, medication management, and meal preparation.
  • Offer compassionate companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and friendly environment.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between clients, their families, and the care management team, facilitating effective communication and understanding.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in domiciliary care, with a strong track record of delivering highquality care services.
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capability to mentor and motivate a care team effectively.
  • Ability to conduct spot checks, competencies, and reviews for care staff.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient approach towards providing care and support.
  • Reliability,punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility in meeting clients' needs.
