Senior Digital Marketing Executive.
Hybrid Working.


The Senior Digital Marketing Executive is a new role in a new team with the remit to help the Content Marketing team identify, commission, manage and store compelling marketing content across all channels that achieves business objectives and resonates withcustomers.


The main purpose of the role is to enable the effective delivery of the marketing content strategy across the organisation's brand, products and customer groups.

They work with the Head of Content & Digital Marketing and other colleagues in the team to providecontent marketing support for the Marketing Department in line with organisational strategy, departmental goals, internal policies, legislation and regulation.


  • Implements a framework for tracking customer understanding of and engagement with marketing content and ensures it is kept up to date
  • Implements a programme of planned content audits and updates including for tax yearend and other changes required by regulation or the business
  • Creates and manages updates to web content using the CMS
  • Works with colleagues in Marketing Operations to implement a testing programme for content marketing
  • Helps to collate Marketing Department requirements for, implement processes for, organise training for and track usage of CRM
  • Helps to capture and report on marketing analytics used by the team
  • Leads for the team in making sure its processes are captured, accurate and up to date in the manual managed by the Marketing Operations team
  • Leads for the team in making sure there is a regular review of its risks to make sure they are identified, assessed, controlled and updated
  • Organises the introduction of agreed new tools and techniques within the team
  • Supports the Head of Content & Digital Marketing as required with reporting on budget management, resourcing and activity for the team
  • Mentor and coach the Content Marketing Executives and wider team to upskill and knowledge share
  • Deputises for the Content Marketing Manager as required
  • Adhere to Company Risk Management policy and procedures, including reporting of incidents or breaches.

About You:


  • Relevant professional qualifications/training e.g. CIM
  • Good experience of writing technical and promotional content
  • Proven experience of quality control of copy content
  • Experience of internal stakeholder engagement
  • Good knowledge of current best practice in promotional and technical content marketing
  • Experience of working independently and as part of a team
  • Experience of maintaining accurate and up to date logs and records
  • Experience of drafting reports
  • Understanding of writing for offline and digital channels
  • Understanding of brand compliance, CRM and SEO
