SWNS Media Group is a British news agency and media company with six subdivisions, including SWNS, 72point, InsideMedia, OATH, OnePoll and Talk to the Press.

SWNS operate from offices in Bristol, Plymouth, Leeds, Solihull, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Cambridge and London and are now looking for a Digital and Social Marketing Apprentice to join their team


The apprentice will play a pivotal role in the team, working across two different brands in related industries, to assist in the creation and implementation of marketing strategies, in line with each brand and the organisation's overall objectives.


  • Contributes to the creation of integrated marketing and social media campaigns and strategies including planning, content ideation, content creation, scheduling, paid promotion and reporting.
  • Contribute to the annual social media content calendar and help to deliver, analyse and report on related activities.
  • Assist in growing and expanding company social media presence into appropriate social media platforms and increase presence on existing platforms.
  • Ensures brand consistency in marketing and social media messages by working with department members.
  • Provides guidance on social media and marketing where required on social media implementation best practices.
  • Researches and monitors digital activity of company competitors
  • Assist with wider digital marketing projects across websites, SEO, blogs, vlogs, landing pages, video content etc.
  • Undertake marketing administration activities across platforms including Google, CRM and CMS.
  • Assist with collateral creation and copy that supports lead generation and conversion
  • Take a collegiate approach with sister brands to affect brand consistency and crosspromotion.
  • Reports progress to immediate line management.
Entry requirements

  • You'll need to attend an online interview with our Talent Team and pass initial assessments in maths and English once you have completed your registration.
  • You will need to be within a commutable distance to the office location listed.
