An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Marketing Manager for a well-established and growing distribution company in the Bolton area.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum requirement
  • At least one marketing qualification; CIM, HND, foundation degree or degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a marketing and management role.
  • Experience working in a teamoriented, management, collaborative, and demanding environment.
  • Experienced using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Experienced in Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).

Duties:


  • Implement catalogue procedures as directed by the Sales & Marketing Committee.
  • Overall responsible for the production of catalogues.
  • Responsible for ensuring the safety data sheets, COSHH risk assessments and Product Usage Guides are kept up to data and are in line with the current catalogue, with the support from the marketing team.
  • Maintain directory of Group marketing support material for Members.
  • Implement coding system and allocate codes and descriptions as required.
  • Overall responsible for quality of content created on leaflets and social media.
  • Investigate and report on feasibility of projects for the Sales & Marketing Committee and relevant subcommittees.
  • Responsible for organising and proofing product branding, labels and packaging.
  • Organise and proof course content updates for digital resources working with S&M Committee and external contractors.
  • Organise marketing material for digital resources working with designers.
  • Liaise with the Sales & Marketing Director to ensure the wishes of the committee are being carried out.
  • Event planning and organisation for corporate exhibitions.
  • Support the Sales & Marketing Committee and ensure actions passed to S&M members are being completed.
  • Compile information for promotional flyers and organise distribution.
  • Composition and distribution of questionnaires to members.
  • Working with and supporting PR Companies ensuring in line with budget set and that work is being carried out to a satisfactory level.
  • Liaise and coordinating with the Procurement and IT team on content.
  • Liaise with suppliers for product resources (images, descriptions etc.) to market their approved products.
  • Address employee issues that need disciplinary action, diplomacy, sensitivity, and nurturing.
  • Conduct team appraisals and employee review meetings.
  • Travel to General meetings for the purpose of presenting to the membership on marketing projects for the group.
  • Attendance to Sales & Marketing and Sustainability & Innovations Committee meetings to present updates, organise meeting and minute taking.
  • Communicating with the committees, membership and Head Office team to develop and enhance Team approach methods.

Salary:
£35,000 per annum


Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
