Description

We are looking to recruit on behalf of a young man living in his own home who is supported by a team of dedicated support workers.

This young man requires 24/7 support to enable him to live the life he chooses while also maintaining his wellbeing and independence within his local community.

His family are very close by and offer their support to the team.

We are looking for a part time support worker who is available to support for up to 24 hours per week including one sleep shift per week.

Flexibility to cover additional hours as required is preferred. Working days are flexible to meet the requirements of our client.

Desirable Qualities and Essential Qualities:

A willingness to learn
A caring nature
To be motivated to learn new skills in relation to autism and communication
To be able to work as part of a team
An ability work in partnership with the family

A range of training opportunities will be available, particularly highly personalised training in order that excellent person-centred support can be provided.

Public Holidays will be paid at time and a half.

There are a range of shifts including weekday shifts, weekends and sleep nights available, set working patterns and hours can be discussed and agreed on an individual basis.
