Purpose of role


Deliver a range of training courses to employees and ensure that they are competent after the completion of each course.

Deliver training courses to external stakeholders and ensure that they are competent after the completion of each course.


Responsible for the development, implementation and delivery of all mandatory training for all new Care workers including Care Certificate training and compliance.


To induct new staff into the business, carrying out all training needs and then completing competencies in the field prior to staff lone working and continuing their role.

Manage and maintain the training programs.

Provide refresher training as and when required.


Key Responsibility


Safely provide compassionate care and support when supporting with competencies and face-to-face care that is person-centered on the individual needs and wishes of each customer.

Respect customers' choices and promote their dignity at all times.

Provide ongoing support for HCA's, acting as a role model to develop a standard of care within the organisation.

The standard of care will be predetermined by the needs of the individuals being cared for and supported as well as the required outcomes of the local authority, CQC guidelines, legislation and the instruction of the Registered Manager.


In House Trainers are expected to report directly to the Registered manager & deputy managers with any concerns or issues they may have discovered within their line of duty.


Recording and reporting

  • Maintain a high level of paperwork relating to training courses, certificates and updating the training matrix as necessary.
  • When supporting with care
  • Record and report all relevant customer information including. The care and support that you provide and assistance with medicines.
Changes to a customer's condition or other concerns
Faulty equipment or hazards in the home
Response to emergencies, accidents, and incidents
Safeguarding matters
Contact with families or carers and other professionals.

  • Keep all information about customers and their families secure and confidential.
  • Record any work you carry out with staff and ensure that the Registered Manager has been informed.

Work well as part of the Care Plus Care team

  • Follow Care Plus policies, procedures and guidance at all times
  • Take part in staff and customer meetings
  • Attend training activities and appraisal and development meetings
This list is not exhaustive and from time to time you may be required to undertake additional duties. We will provide full training in line with regulatory requirements


Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 16 per week


Salary:
£12.50 per hour
