Role Overview - Overseas Travel Required
Fintelligent are currently partnered with a leading retailer with revenue in excess of £100m.

Our client is seeking a step up Finance Director to support a vital area of the business including professionalising finance, M&A and partnering with operations.

You will be supporting the newly appointed CFO whilst providing leadership to a junior finance function.

Main Duties

Overseeing and acting as 'number 1' within an underperforming arm of the business
Managing and developing a team of 3 qualified and 4 none qualified accountants
Developing the monthly reporting suite, providing transparency on company performance
Building a strong relationship with the PE investors and other stakeholders
Supporting EBITDA growth via partnering with none finance
Providing strategic leadership and transparency on performance
Identifying business growth opportunities

Person Specification

Fully qualified accountant, ideally top 4 trained
Strong management skills
Comfortable in a fast paced and energetic environment
Experience of operating in a PE backed business is highly desirable though not essential
Strong commercial awareness
