Permanent This opportunity would ideally suit a Chartered Building Surveyor who is looking to progress to either Senior Surveyor or Associate Director level.

You will be joining an international multi-disciplinary property consultancy to provide traditional building surveying services to a range of commercial clients including office, industrial, retail and automotive sectors.

Your duties will include:

Acquisition and due diligence advice; preparing building surveys, vendor packs, and leaseholder advice.
Monitoring developments for banks and funds; project appraisals, technical and financial monitoring of schemes.
Building diagnostics; advising on condition/defects, suitability, potential liabilities, and maintenance plans.
Conversion/maintenance; feasibility advice, contract administration, cost consultancy, designing/specifying works, contractor procurement, delivering projects and maintenance planning.
Dilapidations; strategic advice, preparation and negotiation of terminal schedules, exit strategy advice, interim schedules and repair notices, advice on section 18 valuations.
Reinstatement cost assessments for building insurance purposes (fire insurance valuations).
Neighbourly matters party wall, oversailing, boundary disputes.

To be successful, you will need to be a Chartered Building Surveyor with traditional building surveying experience on commercial properties.
