£35,000 to £50,000

Plus uncapped commission / CA or Co. Car

Wolverhampton, West Midands
The successful Business Development Manager will be driven to deliver new business and the opportunity to grow your own sales team around you is very much a possibility


Responsibilities and Duties for a Business Development Manager:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities within our required sectors.
  • Assisting with the development process from marketing intelligence through to client identification, prequalification, tendering, negotiation and contract implementation.
  • Cold calling, on foot and by phone, to arrange meetings with prospects for new business.
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with prospects and clients to drive future opportunities.
  • Growing and maintaining an active lead generation pipeline.
  • Using effective questioning techniques to determine the customers' needs and requirements.
  • Attending tender site visits, client meetings and submission interviews, preparing and delivering presentations and completed tender documents to prospective clients.
  • Provide weekly updates to the directors.

Required experience and skills:


  • Full UK driving license
  • Sales experience both over the phone and face to face.
  • Strong communication skills the ability nurture leads through different forms of communication.
  • Responsible person with the ability to respond quickly to new requirements
  • Understanding of the security industry, the main regulations and buying processes
  • Commercial negotiation including T&C
  • Strong communication skills able to cold call potential clients
  • Good time management
  • Selfmotivation
  • Bid Project Management
  • Licence/Certification:
  • SIA License (preferred)
