We are looking for a Project Support Officer to join our Health and Communities team, part of our Employment, Skills, Health and Communities (ESHC) directorate.

In this role, you'll support out Senior Delivery Managers and Senior Policy Officers with tasks such as research planning, delivery, and execution.

You'll provide comprehensive support, coordinating plans and reports, solidifying business cases, and ensuring adherence to all procedures.

What will you be doing?

  • Track project progress, identify and address issues, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Assist with research, data management, and stakeholder communication across diverse health projects.
  • Develop and maintain key project documents such as plans, resource lists, reports, and SharePoint updates.
  • Contribute to risk management by identifying and tracking potential problems, keeping the team informed.
  • Organise and coordinate stakeholder meetings to ensure everyone is aligned with project goals.
  • Provide assistance to Senior Delivery Managers and Senior Policy Officers on various project aspects.
  • Contribute to planning, execution, and evaluation across policy, research, and stakeholder management for successful project outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain efficient project workflows and systems for documented project goals.
  • Build strong working relationships with senior team members within the Health and Communities team.

About You.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Demonstrated track record of supporting projects from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities under pressure while troubleshooting issues and meeting deadlines.
  • Skilled in project management methodologies including performance measurement and ensuring compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a focus on identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

It is expected that you can split your time between the office and working remotely, with at least 2 days a week spent in the office.
