On behalf of my well established Shropshire/Staffordshire client, I am looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join their Staffordshire office on a full time basis.


The role of account handler is to assist the Account Executives with the administration of client insurance portfolios for both commercial and retail customers.

Including but not limited to;

  • Advising clients on insurance matters; obtaining quotations for Commercial insurance; managing the inception and renewal of policies; dealing with midterm adjustments and alterations.
  • Assisting with claims; maintaining client files and diary systems; to be responsible for the accurate input and maintenance of data and client details onto the computer system; to communicate professionally and effectively with clients and insurers both verbally and in writing by post or E-Mail.
  • Be able to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered to.
  • Be able to liaise with colleagues and work supportively and jointly when appropriate.
  • Be able to develop and sustain relationships with both internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Be able to construct effective written communications, including letters and reports to meet business needs.
  • Demonstrate confident and effective telephone skills.
  • Be able to effectively analyse client needs and develop solutions.
  • Use good interpersonal skills, including questioning and listening.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday
