Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be commercially aware and driven by financial success i.e., ensuring costs are kept as low as possible ensure annual savings targets are being met etc.
  • Be bale to interpret data and focus on what will deliver value to the business.
  • Be an active part of the Procurement team supporting the indirect functional strategy, processes and wider delivery of targets.
  • Be able to work both independently to demonstrate a selfdriven initiative for problem solving able to make decisions and as part of a team.
  • Deliver a good level of Microsoft Office skills and able to manipulate raw data in Microsoft Excel for data analytics.
  • Engage in supplier relationship management to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Support work on projects as identified by the Procurement Manager and leverage Procurement team for support.
  • Be able to collaborate with a wide range of teams supporting the Indirect category for cost optimisation recommendations.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

  • 12 years of working within a Procurement role or equivalent.
  • Some experience of working in or managing projects representing procurement as a function.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP Systems such as Microsoft NAV.
  • Working knowledge of contract management processes and practices.
  • Degree preferred but not essential.
  • Experience of working within a systems administration role.
  • Experience of working in a fastpaced, customerfacing environment.
  • Clean driving license.
