Description
NHS Golden Jubilee is looking for experienced, passionate and driven individuals to join our Anaesthetic team.

You will provide general and regional anaesthesia for a range of surgical specialities including orthopaedics, general surgery and colorectal surgery.

There is a particular focus on our highly successful national orthopaedic programme supported by our Enhanced Recovery programme.

The Department of Orthopaedics is now one of the largest arthroplasty units in the United Kingdom, delivering 30% of all hip and knee replacements for Scotland, and approximately 45% per cent of those by West of Scotland hospitals.

It is an exciting time to join the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital. As part of an £80m Scottish Government investment, we are currently expanding orthopaedic and general surgery. As one of our valued Consultant Anaesthetists, you will be part of an efficient, effective and supportive team, gain experience and benefit from our unique mix of planned care services, as well as benefit from flexible working patterns and on-call commitments to support a better work/life balance.
