Exciting growth means that we currently have a vacancy for a
Sales and Customer Service Assistant to join our small team.

With a worldwide customer base and a subsidiary in the Netherlands, the role will involve regular dealings with import/export admin and customers from around the world.

In short, this would be a varied role with plenty of opportunity to gain new skills and experience using modern software and systems as part of a friendly 'can-do' team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Taking orders/changing orders
Processing returns/refunds/credits
Helping customers with shipping/delivery queries, chasing couriers
Assisting Dutch colleagues with stock/order queries (remotely)
Handling post/running occasional errands (driving licence and car an advantage)

Essential Skills & Qualifications
Strong literacy and numeracy skills are essential, as is a friendly and helpful telephone manner.

Skills, experience, or qualifications in the following areas would be an advantage:

Customer service
General business administration

Most important of all however is a positive outlook, enthusiasm, good work ethic and 'can-do' attitude.

We're looking for someone who likes to make the most of opportunities and work to the best of their abilities as part of a team who feel and do the same.

Employment Details
The position is full time (37.5hrs/week) and permanent, based in our modern industrial unit in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. Working hours are Mon-Fri, suggested as 8am to 4pm but could be adjusted to suit.

Starting salary circa £22k, negotiable dependent upon skills, qualifications and experience.
