This is an exciting opportunity to join the Banking and Treasury Team in Financial Services as a Banking and Treasury Administrative Assistant._ _The Banking and Treasury Team is part of the wider Finance Processing team that also includes the Accounts Payable, Payroll and Accounts Receivable (Customer Accounts) teams.


The post is part-time 21.75 hours per week (0.6 full-time equivalent) and is expected to include three full working days Monday to Wednesday on a fixed term contract until 31stst July 2024.


You will be required to support the Banking and Treasury Manager in ensuring that key financial process operate efficiently and that financial controls are maintained.

This will include processing payments, processing banking transactions and completing associated financial reconciliations.


You must be able to plan and prioritise your own workload effectively to achieve deadlines and be able to communicate effectively with staff, students and external agencies in person, in writing and in the telephone.


Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a grade C or above in Maths and English, achievement of an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in an accounting or business administration field is desirable.

You need to be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Financial Regulations and be able to use you own initiative to investigate queries and make routine decisions relating to your own area of work.
