What you'll do:


  • Create and deliver infrastructure as code to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of our internal or customerfacing services?
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Contribute to the stability, security and standards of the environment
  • Be part of a team that contributes and creates new designs, architectures and standards for largescale distributed systems
  • Define process and best practices for reliable and timely delivery
  • Communicate work status regularly with a clear articulation of design choices along the way?

What you'll bring:


  • Linux System Administration (Ubuntu/Centos )
  • Content Delivery Network (Akamai, Fastly, etc)
  • Cloud Platforms deploying and automation (AWS/GCP)
  • Networking (LB/Routing/Switching)
  • Scripting/ System-Programming (Python/Bash/Go)
  • Configuration management (Ansible/ Terraform)
  • CI/CD (Jenkins/ Concourse/ GoCD/ gitlabci)
  • Monitoring (Prometheus)
  • Logging systems (ELK)

Team Overview:


  • My team, Edge Delivery Engineering SRE, is responsible for Centralise management of Content Delivery Network, CDN, standardisation in Global OTT and to develop tooling to aid SRE teams implement CDN configuration and keep consistency between teams. _
