Description

The post holder will work across the ICB workforce team to provide efficient and effective administrative support to ensure the team is supported to achieve its aims and objectives.

The post holder will coordinate the management of day-to-day administrative activities including document and diary management, and formal minutes for our ICB People Board and other meetings as required.


Additionally, the post holder will support our sub-group workstreams as needed, coordinating administrative and secretarial services; including the preparation of agendas and minutes, taking appropriate follow-up action as required.

This will include supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information, and undertaking enquiries as and when necessary.


The post holder will be required to manage multiple strands of administrative work, with priorities that could change on a regular basis and be able to use their initiative to identify their own priorities and to communicate these across organisational boundaries.

The Integrated Care Board (ICB) is a statutory body responsible for local NHS services, functions, performance and budgets.

It is directly accountable to the NHS and is made up of local NHS trusts, primary care providers, and local authorities.

The ICB is responsible for joining up care services to improve patient experience in the community.

The Board includes a chair, the chief executive and representatives from NHS organisations, primary care (GPs) and local authorities (councils).


The Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) is a statutory committee that brings together all system partners to produce a health and care strategy.

As a forum to support partnership working, the ICP brings together local authorities, health and social care, and housing providers.
