The Gynaecology department are looking for a part time 30 hours Medical Secretary to join our busy department on a 6 month fixed term contract, covering maternity leave.

This post will provide essential secretarial support to the Gynae team.


This role is essential to the department and very demanding, applicants will need to be self-motivated, use own initiative and posses Medical Secretarial experience.


You must enjoy working within a busy environment and have the ability to relate to patients and work well within a team.

You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and have a positive attitude.


Wye Valley NHS Trust is a member of an NHS Foundation Group with South Warwickshire NHS FT, the George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust and Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.


Located on the border with Wales in the shadow of the Black Mountains, we provide acute and community services across Herefordshire and into parts of Powys and run Hereford County Hospital and the community hospitals in Bromyard, Leominster and Ross-on-Wye.

Worcestershire is our neighbouring county. The post holder will be required to travel between sites.
