    Sales Administrator for a leading packaging manufacturer based in Lincoln.
  • This role is a full time, permanent vacancy.
  • The role requires a flexible and eager individual who can approach a demanding workload as part of a team to manage, process and control customer enquiries, converting them into estimates using our Internal Operating System and communicating them back to the customer within required timescales. In addition to this, you will be partaking in designing, drawing (using CAD software) and cutting samples (using CAD table) to provide corrugated packaging solutions in line with our customer requirements. On the job training is provided by our Corrugated Office Manager who you would also be reporting to.
  • Your responsibilities will include:
  • Generating customer estimates from customer enquiries and job developments to provide accurate quotes.
  • Working closely with colleagues in the same and other departments, ensuring the most costeffective route, to produce a job.
  • Consult with external suppliers requesting prices when required.
  • Take briefs from customers or sales personal to create accurate CAD and product development samples Answering the telephone and dealing with any queries that may arise.
  • Any other administrative adhoc tasks that may arise.
  • Undertake certain responsibilities of fellow colleagues in the event of absence.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Strong Administration skills.
  • Customer focused approach.
  • High level of both written and spoken English.
  • Flexible with a good attitude towards your work.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately and remain calm under pressure.
  • Be proactive and able to take the initiative.
  • Able to take ownership of tasks and projects seeing them through to completion.
  • Be able to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Organisational and multitasking skills ability to prioritise and effectively manage a large volume of requests.
  • Be resilient, highly organised and able to cope in a fastpaced environment being both flexible and able to work across a range of issues.
  • CAD Design (Desirable).

Benefits:


  • Salary is up to £23,500k.
  • Standard office hours for this role would be 8.30am 5.00pm, Monday to Friday with the expectation of flexibility dependant on department demands.
  • 20 days holiday plus public holidays.
  • Further possibility of progression possible as the organisation expands.
