Are you looking for a new role helping with the maintenance and upkeep in a leading UK support charity?

We are looking to recruit a General Maintenance Operative to work across our sites and services in Wirral and West Cheshire.

Working under our Head of Estates & Facilities, the job involves undertaking general internal/external repairs and maintenance tasks relating to all aspects of the building trade, such as joinery, hard landscaping, plastering and plumbing.

This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week, between Monday and Friday. The salary is £22,565 per annum.

This is a great opportunity to work for a large regional charity which provides specialist autism services.

Experience and a proven record of carrying out general maintenance tasks.
An understanding of and experience of the use of associated plant and machinery, including power tools.
Experience of the use of all hand tools.
Experience of working to deadlines, prioritising own work load, and understanding the importance of confidentiality.
