Are you looking for a new role helping with the maintenance and upkeep in a leading UK support charity?


We are looking to recruit a General Maintenance Operative to work across our sites and services in Wirral and West Cheshire.


Working under our Head of Estates & Facilities, the job involves undertaking general internal/external repairs and maintenance tasks relating to all aspects of the building trade, such as joinery, hard landscaping, plastering and plumbing.

This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week, between Monday and Friday. The salary is £22,565 per annum.

This is a great opportunity to work for a large regional charity which provides specialist autism services.

  • Experience and a proven record of carrying out general maintenance tasks.
  • An understanding of and experience of the use of associated plant and machinery, including power tools.
  • Experience of the use of all hand tools.
  • Experience of working to deadlines, prioritising own work load, and understanding the importance of confidentiality.
