This is a fantastic new Accounts Assistant role based in the city of London with a well established international shipping company.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract, looking for experience with Accounts Payable, Receivable, expenses, reconciliationsand more.

My client is an international, shipping and logistics company and are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their well-established team on a 6 month fixed term contract to support their finance team whilst they evaluate the teamsstructure.


Description

As the Accounts Assistant your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Accounts Payable inbox
  • Creating receipts for and processing customer/intercompany sales orders
  • Processing purchase/sales invoices and credit notes
  • Performing supplier statement reconciliations
  • Performing monthly and quarterly payment runs
  • Processing employee and credit card expenses
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Performing credit card and employee expense reconciliations
  • Posting prepayments and accruals
  • Preforming month end and support with balance sheet reconciliation
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks

Profile

The successful Accounts Assistant will have:

  • Experience with end to end accounts payable
  • Experience using accounting system (Epicor is highly desirable)
  • Strong Excel experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Offer
- £32,000 salary
