This is a brand new role within a well established FMCG organisation. This role will allow a suitable individual to join a growing finance, making meaningful change within the overall organisation.


Client Details


Our client is a growing FMCG organisation based in West London looking for an experienced finance analyst to join their business.


Description

The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Analyse variance to forecast for labour, variable & fixed costs in the period end close process and follow up with relevant stake holders
  • Own pricing function including variance analysis on product margins and follow up with relevant stake holders
  • Price file management including online portal management for various customer procurement portals
  • Monthly MIS reporting on Turnover, Margin, Customer & product KPIs
  • Support FM in monthly, quarterly & yearly MIS submission including month end results, budget & forecast
  • Support operations team in understanding P&L reports and identifying opportunities to drive improvements to deliver sales & EBITDA targets
  • Provide proactive, insightful, high quality decisionmaking support, ensuring business wide implications are considered, that enables the business to make the best decisions with regards to investment decisions
  • Support FD in preparation of annual budgets & forecast
  • Support FD on strategic business decisions including acquisition & investment appraisal
  • System support for SAP B1/Tagetik
  • Provide adhoc analytical support as required

Profile

  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to effectively think outside the box and be willing to go the extra mile for solutions
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Relevant experience within FMCG, Hospitality or the retail industry
  • Relevant Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience delivering positive outcomes within a fast growing organisation
