We're looking for a proactive and resourceful Team Assistant to support our Finance team.

As we continue our journey of rapid growth, you'll be a driving force and administrative support for our finance team with a focus on our Finance Leadership team, specifically the Group Finance Director.

This role is in our London office based in Shoreditch.


You'll be embedded into the Finance function and reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, you'll get to take on various projects within the Finance organisation, work closely with the team and become deeply involved in the business.

The connections you build and relationships you develop will be the key to the success in this role.

Support on Finance organisation projects, preparation of internal communications and cross-team collaboration within the Finance team (e.g. organising all hands calls, socials or offsites). Support and develop Finance leadership forums including managing agendas / actions / meetings.


Key responsibilities:


  • Provide business and administrative support to the Group Finance Director.
  • Coordinate complex and everchanging diaries, ensuring all meeting logistics are taken care of. This includes arranging international travel itineraries and visas if needed.
  • Support the Group Finance Leadership team in owning meeting agendas, taking notes & actions, help the team unpick problems and keep them aligned and accountable.
  • Lead the organisation of team initiatives, e.g internal conferences, team offsites, and other events. Organising all logistics.
  • Coordination of Group Finance hiring and cost planning
  • Help to prepare internal communications within the Finance org. Often drafting and sending out team communications on behalf of the team leads.

A bit about you:


  • You have 2+ years of experience as a Personal Assistant and 4+ years overall professional experience ideally in a high growth company, ideally supporting a global team with multiple demands.
  • Experience or exposure to working within a finance team is preferable but not required.
  • You're a self starter and love to work autonomously. You're able to identify gaps and streamline processes with little or no guidance from others. You use your initiative and excellent judgement to make decisions in an ambiguous environment.
  • You're able to juggle multiple responsibilities with unwavering attention to detail at all times.
  • You have excellent communication skills. You match your communication style to the specifics of the situation, and audience.
  • You're a creative problem solver. We're not a 'one size fits all' kind of company and we're not looking for off the shelf solutions. You think on your feet and find solutions to problems that are anything but clearcut.
  • You are proficient in using Google Suite and other collaboration tools, such as Slack. You're able to conduct basic data analysis using Google spreadsheets.
