Our client, a multi-national consultancy, is recruiting Lead DevOps Engineers to join their Infrastructure team.

They are fully committed to the DevOps culture and are constantly trying to change to ensure that the culture is nurtured and grows.


The role is a permanent opportunity with the possibility of remote working with a view to being onsite at least once a week in one of their core offices in London, Manchester and Leeds.


The role:

  • Managing and mentoring your own team of engineers. Cultivating the culture of your team.
  • Build and Run cloud infrastructure and software services primarily in AWS, Azure and GCP.
  • Prioritize automation and where possible guild infrastructure with Terraform or other IaC tools.
  • Run sprints and assist with prioritising your team's workload.
  • Manage relationships with client to become a trusted delivery partner.

Essential Experience required:


  • Proven experience managing a team of engineers and responsibility for delivering projects.
  • Linux/Unix/Microsoft configuration.
  • Practical experience with public cloud providers: AWS/Azure or GCP.
  • Proven experience in software development or scripting languages such as Python/Go/PowerShell/Nodejs/C# or equivalent.
  • CI/CD pipelining skills using Octopus/TeamCity/Jenkins/Azure DevOps.
  • Automates everything.
  • Proven experience working in an agile environment.
