Description

We are working with a well-established manufacturing company based in Brighouse and who are currently looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator to join their team.

Responsibilities

Carry out general sheet metal work, including cutting, bending, shaping, and assembling metal parts.
Work with a variety of metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate products.
Operate a range of machinery and equipment, such as guillotines, press brakes, and spot welders.
Carry out cladding work, including fitting and attaching metal sheets to various structures.
Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and meets quality requirements.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator.
Strong knowledge and understanding of sheet metal work, cladding, and fabrication.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Experience operating a range of machinery and equipment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Good communication skills.

This is a full-time position, working 38 hours per week on a temporary to permanent basis. The starting pay rate is up to £12.83 per hour, depending on experience.
