The
Lecturer in Education (T&R) post will provide an ideal entry-level or early-career position for a research-focussed scholar who is fully committed to students and teaching.

You will be expected to contribute to and enhance MIE's research-led teaching in Education, across a range of UG and PGT programmes, and to develop a research profile consistent with the UoM's published expectations.

In support of this, you will be inducted into a thriving and supportive academic environment, and assigned to one or more of our active RSGs.

MIE has recently embarked on a programme of expansion, and the advertised post is on top of a recruitment cycle that began in summer 2021 and has since brought 15-20 new colleagues to the department on full-time, permanent contracts.
