Position Overview:

Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure all areas of the nursing home are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and regulations.
Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to support the housekeeping department.
Respond promptly to resident and staff requests regarding housekeeping services.
Collaborate with other department heads to ensure a coordinated approach to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursing home.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a housekeeping department, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
Understanding of infection control procedures and regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and staff.

Pay:
£12.00 per hour
