**I am looking for a personal assistant to provide support for myself with Parkinson's. I am determined to maintain my independence and need a dedicated assistant who can help me with various tasks and activities. I am seeking a personal assistant to provide assistance to myself on Sundays, both in the morning and evening. Your primary responsibilities will include helping me to get up and dressed, preparing breakfast, and ensuring I am comfortable and well taken care of. In the evening, you will assist with dinner and help me to get ready for bed. All necessary medications and supplies will be readily available in my room.Location:

Job Description:
- Visiting in the morning to support me with getting out of bed and ready for the day ahead.
- Support in personal care routines including washing, dressing and managing toileting needs.
- Preparing and cooking meals, considering dietary preferences and restrictions.
- Help me get ready for bed.
- Housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and tidy home environment.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested.
Essential:
- Full UK driving license holder with appropriate business insurance cover.
- The person I employ, must have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of work including total respect for my privacy.
- If this position requires any of the following, the employee will be required to complete free annual training:
- Manual Handling
- Handling of hazardous chemicals COSHH
- Food Handling
- GDPR Stage One & GDPR Stage Two
- Health and Safety
- First Aid
- Desirable:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Flexibility in working hours to accommodate the individual's needs.

- The rate of pay for this position is £13.00 per hour.
- Hours and times of work: 01 Hrs Sunday Morning & 01 Hrs Sunday Evening, Time discussed further at interview.
- The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
- Free Care Skills training is provided to employed staff.
- A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
- Satisfactory references from two referees, one of whom must be your current or last employer.
- Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
- If this position requires any of the following, the employee will be required to complete free annual training:
