Customer Onboarding Specialist (KYC) | Hammersmith, London _(hybrid working with 3 days in our new Hammersmith office per week is required)_
As a Customer Onboarding Specialist you will play a pivotal role in the continued stability and growth of our organisation, by serving as a front-line representative for GetGround ensuring a seamless, professional and world class experience for our customers within our Customer Operations team.
What you will do
- Conducting initial due diligence and undertaking risk based analysis on proposed new customers
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, regulatory, AML and JMLSG rules and guidelines
- Escalating issues to the Customer Operations Team Lead and the Compliance team
- Ensuring customers experience an efficient and seamless process during the different stages of onboarding with us
- Contributing to improving our processes and ensuring they are well documented
- Building relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
- Contributing to achieving quarterly Operations Team objectives and key results (OKRs)
- Ensuring internal systems are up to date with relevant documents and data
- Conducting ongoing due diligence using third party screening software
The skills and experience you will have:
Essential:
- 12+ years experience working in customer onboarding as a KYC specialist/analyst
- Knowledge of relevant regulation e.g AML
- Experience with conducting due diligence on individuals and entities
using a risk based approach - Exceptional attention to detail
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise effectively across competing demands
- Able to act independently on own initiative
Desirable:
- An understanding of company structures
- An understanding of the property industry
