Macildowieare pleased to be partnered with a modern and flexible business in the Warwick area who are looking for a Permanent Accounts Assistant - mainly dealing with Purchase Ledger responsibilities - to join their dynamic Accounts team utilising a hybridworking model.

You will be responsible for end-to-end Purchase Ledger tasks including payment runs.

If you are immediately available, the role will start on a temporary to permanent basis, and if you are currently in a role, they may consider a straight-permanentposition as long as your notice period is no longer than 2 weeks.


Responsibilities:


  • Processing supplier invoices for the company and subsidiaries
  • Reconciling and collating supplier statements regularly and resolving queries related to the issue of these statements
  • Raising supplier payments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assisting in the review and payment process of company expenses
  • Assisting with monthend where possible
  • Provide general support to the Finance & Controlling teams as required

Requirements:


  • Experience in a Purchase Ledger position; with experience processing invoices/payments and dealing with discrepancies/supplier queries
  • Working towards/fully qualified in AAT or a similar qualification
  • High degree of computer literacy
  • MS Excel is a must
  • SAP system experience or similar will be advantageous
  • Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrates integrity and able to work unsupervised with initiative
