We're recruiting for a Marketing Executive who will support the Marketing Managers and Marketing Director of the North Division marketing team.

Our Marketing Executives play a major part in delivering the profit and growth aspirations of the North Division by leading, shaping, building, controlling and delivering campaigns that drive engagement with customers, distinguish the brand, and critically, generate quality leads for our business.

The role requires a high performing, motivated individual that uses their knowledge of best practice marketing and experience within a B2B arena to deliver exceptional commercial results for their stakeholders.

Your Role

Understand the commercial objectives across our diverse branch network, and to support the wider marketing team to:
Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop marketing propositions/plans (utilising the full breadth of marketing's capabilities) that align and support our business' growth objectives.
Proactively identifying new marketing opportunities for lead generation, as well as responding to BAU requests from the business.
Ensure all marketing activity is grounded in a strong understanding of business goals / products / industry and competitive opportunities.
Ensure all marketing activity follows the processes and best practices required to deliver excellent results, and ensure we remain compliant (given we operate in a regulated industry).
Understand campaign KPIs and communicate regularly with clear and consistent feedback to the business with campaign progress updates and whether the strategy needs to adjust.
Ensuring necessary stakeholder and compliance sign off for marketing activities.
Being creative in the approach to marketing and be willing to test/trial using new activities.
Keeping an eye on industry and wider marketing best practice, and the activities of competitors, to ensure we stay one step ahead.

Stakeholder Accountabilities

Effectively develop key relationships within the wider marketing community across the international Gallagher group.
Supporting senior Marketing colleagues to ensure marketing activity is customercentric, best in class, and fully aligned to commercial objectives.
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders of all levels of seniority.

Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Industry recognised marketing qualifications and experience within the insurance sector would be a huge advantage.
Excellent communication skills, ability to think quickly on your feet but also turn your attention to the finer details of wellplanned tasks as well as processes.
Experience in briefing internal teams and external agencies precisely and succinctly, confidently communicating the project's objectives, timelines and nuances.
Ambitious with real desire to produce the best work for our business. Taking pride in all aspects of your role and maximising the impact you have on our reputation.
A selfstarter that takes the initiative, with strong organisational skills and the key skills to plan workload and prioritise effectively.
Eligible to work in the UK.
