Nights Cleaning Duty Manager, Ongoing, Full-time job

  • Location: Wembley, Northwest London, HA0.
  • Working hours: 21:00 05:00 h. Sunday
  • Thursday.
  • Weekly Wage: £18/h + holiday accrual (PAYE) or
-£21/h (umbrella scheme),


OVERVIEW:


Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, this role will oversee the management of all aspects of the LNER fleet and station cleaning contract within your location.

You are responsible and accountable for the performance of the LNER contract at your location,this includes ensuring Supervisors, the cleaning teams and the services are performing effectively, and are in line with contractual obligations.

You will offer support and guidance to Supervisors/Cleaners within your location.

SCOPE OF ROLE - KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Work collaboratively with Company supplier(s) and Contract Staff, be accountable for the confident delivery of excellent high performing services to LNER at your location
  • Lead in the Supervision of the LNER contract, ensuring services meet the requirements of the contract, Company and LNER.
  • Undertake regular reviews and reporting on the delivery of the LNER contract and the delivery of an effective Service within your location.
  • Proactively implementing measures to address issues identified as a result of reviews and to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Interface with the clients, service providers and stakeholders, to ensure the expectations are being met and any additional services can be supported.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:

  • A proven track record in cleaning service delivery.
  • Experience of implementing, reviewing and achieving the standard for safety, quality, time and cost.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to operate and build credibility with employees
  • Experience of leading and inspiring a team which may be dispersed across a region.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in a large complex organisation.
  • Recognised Health and Safety qualifications e.g. IOSH.

Qualifications and Professional Standards:

  • Relevant Professional qualification appropriate to level of role.
  • Relevant Professional Membership such as MIWFM, MBICs MInstLM or MCMI.
