We're looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to work within Cancer Care, the role is being offered as predominantly nights and would suit someone who prefers working outside of core hours.

The role requires a team working approach but with ample opportunity for autonomy.

ABOUT THE TEAM
**The ACP's within Cancer Care work across the oncology and haematology wards and also within the Macmillan Acute Oncology Service (MAOS) providing prompt review of in patients and also clerking patients presenting to UHS for scheduled, unscheduled and emergency cancer care 24/7.The ACPs that work within the Clinical, Medical and Haematology areas of Cancer Care, work as part of the medical team and are allocated a case load of patients that they are responsible for. This includes the daily review and planning of care as well as requesting appropriate interventions and planning for discharge whilst liaising regularly with the core team. Each area of Cancer Care requires nuanced skills from our ACPs but broadly our practice is underpinned by the 4 Pillars of Advanced Practice and adapted to each area mapped against specific competencies.
