The role
We're on the look for a Medico-Legal Adviser to join our growing Medical Team.


What the role is all about: As a Medico-Legal Adviser, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and assistance to MDDUS members. As a pivotal part of our team, you will champion membership and development initiatives, aligning seamlessly with our corporate and financial objectives.   • Provide medico-legal advice and assistance to MDDUS members, influencing critical decisions in various areas of healthcare.

Minimum Requirements for the Role:


  • Education: Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
  • Professional Registration: Current GMC Registration with an active Licence to Practise.
  • Membership: Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners or equivalent.

Desirable Requirements for the Role:


  • Legal Qualification: Masters degree in Medical Law, LLB, or postgraduate diploma in law, or membership of the Bar (practising or nonpractising).
These minimum requirements ensure that applicants possess the necessary medical and legal qualifications to fulfil the role effectively.
