    Job Title: Contract Days Electrical Maintenance Engineer
    Job Location: Oldham area
    Salary: £45 - £50 p/h

    About the Role


    To ensure the smooth operation of our multi-site FMCG manufacturing facility, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Days Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

    1. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing, adjusting, and repairing process and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
    2. This involves examining machinery and equipment to report on condition, performance, and planning improvements.

    Requirements & Qualifications


    1. A Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical engineering or similar manufacturing experience is required.
    2. Alternatively, equivalent qualifications in electrical fields with an FMCG manufacturing background would be considered ideal.

    You will need to be a competent electrical engineering professional with technical experience. Problem-solving skills and PLC/automation experience are desirable. Your ability to produce safe systems of work and contribute to the development, manufacture, commissioning, decommissioning, operation, or maintenance of products, equipment, process, or service is essential. This role encompasses all-round hands-on maintenance electrical tasks as well as conveyors and processing end-of-line packing. Extensive planned maintenance tasks and organisation of the engineering plant are also crucial.
