The Role

As a Product Industrialisation Leader at Safran Electrical & Power you will deliver our new products using modern manufacturing techniques, working with the latest technology to ensure Safran remains as a global leader within the aerospace industry.

You will ensure the product industrialisation team delivers new products within the design for manufacture and design to cost requirements for each program.

Lead the product industrialisation team in delivering new products within design for manufacture and design for cost requirements for each program
Project manage and coordinate the manufacturing industrialisation of all new products
Act as a focal point between program management and other functions across the site, ensuring industrialisation strategies are implemented
Engage with multiple functions and departments to challenge design, manufacturing and test strategies across the site, improving process capability where possible
Ensure modern manufacturing techniques are adopted as appropriate
Contribute and lead technical reviews for new product design
Occasional travel to other Safran sites and suppliers will be required

Desirable Experience

Degree or equivalent in relevant engineering field
Experience within the aerospace industry beneficial
Experience of managing supplier relations
Experience of Product Part Approval Process
PPAP
A deep understanding of manufacturing, design and test strategy
DFM, DFC, DFT
Demonstrable leadership experience within an engineering or industrialisation environment
Analytical approach to managing product costs
Ability to communicate and influence with both internal and external stakeholders
Evidence of written English at interview stage
