Accounts Assistant/ Credit Controller
Watts Aviation, Europe's leading Aircraft Tyre distributor, is now looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller
ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT / CREDIT CONTROL
You will need to be accurate and diligent in your work and flexible in your duties as the role is in a small hardworking team.
General Overview of Responsibilities:
- Preparation of bookkeeping records from the source documents supplied.
- Banking and bank reconciliation of GBP, USD & EUR accounts
- Dealing with foreign currency payments and receipts
- Posting invoices, receipts, and processing payments
- Credit Control
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
- Other duties general bookkeeping duties, other office duties
The preferred requirements of this role are:
- Part Qualified / Qualified to AAT level
- GCSE English and Maths grade C or above
- Sage or Sage 200 experience
- Experience with multicurrency accounting
- Excellent IT skills especially in Excel and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Salary:
From £26,000.00 per year

- Gloucester, GL15 5EL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- credit control: 1 year (preferred)
