An opportunity has arisen for a number of permanent full or part time Band 2 Health Care Support within the Medical Directorate at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

Cunliffe ward at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital is a progressive, supportive environment with a dynamic and motivated team.

Our busy but friendly ward is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic permanent nurses wishing to gain experience in Nephrology. Cunliffe ward is a challenging and rewarding place to work.


Applicants just have an approachable manner necessary to deal with patients and their relatives and desirable experience of a hospital environment.

Applicants will work as part of a team of nurses on the ward and undertake patient fundamentals of nursing care tasks under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered General Nurse responsible for the patient's management

You need to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills; you are required to be self-motivated with initiative.

You will work independently within the multidisciplinary team always ensuring the patients needs are met. You will be working under supervision of a registered health professional. There maybe progression in terms of development.

Working hours are SHIFT BASIS and a flexible approach will be considered.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
