Description

Preparation and review of monthly management accounts, including P&L and Balance Sheet, using Sage 50 Accounts, for presentation to Directors

Preparation of Management accounts for submission to the CAA.
Preparation of annual statutory accounts and audit pack, maintaining a relationship with auditors, providing support and assistance to complete audit on time.
Creating & submitting monthly returns to the CAA
Comply with all financial reporting requirements
CAA, Companies House, Corporation Tax, PAYE and VAT
Monthly Preparation and submission of payroll & pension data to the payroll bureau
Development & enhancement of all current operational, commercial and financial MI in line with business growth & evolvement.
Highlight & develop improved forecasting processes & reporting.
Management and control of daily banking and credit control functions.

Key Performance Indicators:

High level of accounting integrity
Accurate bank reconciliation
Weekly cash flow report integrity
Sage Accounts accuracy
Maintain balance sheet schedules and reconciliations
MI developed & improved in line with company requirements
Accuracy & enhancement of improved forecasting

Skills & Experience:

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including senior management
Proficient in use of Sage Accounting business software
Self motivated, with the Ability to work on own initiative.
Staff management ability, motivation and mentoring
Numerate and accurate
Problemsolving skills
A keen eye for detail

Salary:
£40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year Full time
