Trainee Accountant (or equivalent)

We are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Accountant (or equivalent) to work 37.5 hours per week based at our Head Office in Bolton within the Management Accounts team.

This is a permanent position. Monday to Friday 9,00am to 5,30pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch each day.

Some Experience would be preferred but not essential. Ideally you will have a numeric background and want to further study AAT.

In this position you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of accounts duties.

Key tasks:

Scanning/OCR'ing invoices/Statements.
Posting of invoices/cash.
Bank Reconciliations.
Production of journals to post.
To support the management accounts department with the tasks involved in the production of monthly management accounts/annual audit files.
Produce Monthly reports.

Essential Skills

Part Qualified in AAT qualification or a strong interest in starting AAT.
A minimum of 5 GCSE's including maths
Great Interpersonal Skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to multitask
Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills
Open minded to any tasks as responsibly asked of you
