Ground Operations Airport Supervisor
Adecco are proud to be partnered with one of Europe's leading airlines, to recruit for motivated and enthusiastic people to join their Ground Operations team here in Luton Airport, starting March 2023.
As a Ground Operations Supervisor, you will be linking in with several teams to ensure the safe, cost effective and punctual running of flights.
You will be involved in all aspects, from passenger check in, baggage handling, cleaning and reset of plane, deep cleans, re-stocking aircraft and any other ad-hoc tasks to ensure the flight leaves on time and to the high standard the passengers expect.
The details:
- Ongoing temp contract
- Pay rate of £12p/h
- Rota will require shifts starting as early as 0430 and finishing as late as midnight.

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that operational standards are being met by the contracted partners at a given airport, daily reporting to the Ground Operations Supervisor Team Lead and Ground Operations Manager in charge
- Onsite supervision of all operations areas (passenger handling, ramp handling, load control, etc.)
- Overseeing performance of certain flights, assisting in reaching the desired quality of handling
- Preparing reports on the station's performance in key areas as requested
- Conducting audits and daily checks on the airport
- Giving assistance to the Ground Operations Manager in charge airports in the assigned Region
- General administration and reporting duties
- Any other task assigned by the Senior Manager of Ground Operations or the Ground Operations Manager
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- A passion for Aviation
- Creative and proactive personality with 'can do' approach
- Computer skills
- Excel, Power Point
- Flexible approach and ability to remain diplomatic
- Energetic, able to adapt and deliver high quality performance in very dynamic work environment
