A rare opportunity has come available for a general maintenance worker to join the Estates team of a local NHS Trust.

If you have general competence in routine maintenance tasks then this could be the role for you.

Duties will include:

Weekly fire alarm tests
Emergency lighting monthly / annual checks
Testing of Panic Alarm Systems / Door Top Alarms
Carry out the weekly testing of site generators
Carry out Legionella inspections and sampling
Ensure all relative documentation & records are complete and in full
Local site gritting and snow clearing
Clearing of blockages in sinks and toilets
Minor plumbing repairs replace tap washers etc.
Removal and replacement of radiator covers for cleaning purposes
General fitting of small fixtures and fittings
Minor joinery works and repairs to locks, fitting of notice boards, Filmings etc.

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.

The initial duration for the role is 6 months but with the view of further extension and may lead to a permanent role for the right person.
