**Quality Engineer - Cambridge
- £45k - £55k**This client is well established firm who are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to be involved in the continuous improvement of Quality Processes from concept and prototype stages, through to postproduction and customer support with their industry.


Main Duties:


  • Contributing to VOC reviews for product / project requirements, continually evaluating and improving the requirements capture process.
  • To measure and ensure process capability meets the product requirements, ensuring engineering focus is applied in the correct areas to improve the overall product quality
  • Participating in project gate reviews thought the development lifecycle, identifying areas of product manufacture that represent risk to quality, cost, or supply
  • To create and monitor Quality Control Plans with our custom component suppliers and contract manufacturers

Key skills:


  • Experience in an Engineering Based Quality role, Product Quality, Product and Process Engineering
  • Proven experience in Electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
  • Experience in an AGILE software development environment
  • Knowledge and use of six sigma methodology
  • Proven experience ensuring CTQs are established and achieved during product development
  • Full UK Clean Driver's License
  • Degree Level Qualification in Manufacturing/Engineering/Technology

Salary/Location:


  • The salary ranges from 45k-55k, depending on experience
  • 5 days a week - Cambridge
